Ameren UE CheckMe Plus Program

Sponsored by AmerenUE, is a residential central air conditioning and heat pump rebate program that offers Missouri homeowners rebates of up to $850 to replace their current central air conditioning or heat pump system with new high-efficiency equipment.

The Missouri Public Service Commission approved the CheckMe Plus Program for AmerenUE customers in the State of Missouri on July 28, 2010. AmerenUE is contracting with Proctor Engineering Group to administer the CheckMe Plus Program.

The CheckMe Plus Program aslo has contractor incentives paid directly to you for:

• Testing and repairing your customer's existing air conditioner or heat pump

• Testing and sealing leaky duct systems

• Installing retrofit high efficiency blower motors.

The federal government has enacted legislation that will make it easier for home owners, commercial building owners, and state and local governments and school boards to finance and purchase higher efficiency HVACR, plumbing, and energy equipment.

The tax incentives include:

• Extension of the Commercial Building Tax Deduction
• Extension of the $2,000 Energy Efficient New Home Credit
• 15-Year Depreciation for Qualified Leasehold, Restaurant, and Retail Improvements
• $2,000 Geothermal Heat Pump Tax Credit
• $1500 Tax Credit for Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Systems
• Qualified Energy Conservation Bonds and Qualified Zone Academy Bonds
