Dan Weis, Weis Comfort Systems

 Dan is training for the MS 150 Bike Ride in September 11 and 12! His goal is to raise $5000.00 dollars!

Why Dan is riding:

"I've registered for Bike MS Express Scripts Gateway Getaway Ride because I want to do something for the people who have been diagnosed - and because I want to do everything to prevent more people from learning what it means to live with this disease. Today, there is no cure for multiple sclerosis, and with diagnosis occurring most frequently between the ages of 20 and 50, many individuals face a lifetime filled with unpredictability."

ACCA-St. Louis Cares About Our Troops

We are adopting soldiers! Our goal is to fulfill the wishes of our troops to the best of our abilities. ACCA-St. Louis is going to adopt five soldiers and send them care packages. With your help and donations we can fill those boxes! We are getting our soldiers' information sent to us through www.asoldierswishlist.org/. A Soldier's Wish List (ASWL) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to support our troops who are serving overseas.  They are involved with troopers deployed in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Kosovo, South Korea, Qatar, Africa, Italy, and Japan.

How do I get involved?

ACCA-St. Louis will have an area designated for donations at membership meetings and our upcoming fall golf tournament on September 16, 2010.

At our golf tournament we will have a silent auction to benefit our soldiers! All profits made in the silent auction will go to postage for sending packages to the troops!

If you have an unusually large donations of items, you can contact the chapter office so we can arrange something!

What should I donate?

Each soldier we are adopting will have a specific wish list of items (listed below), as well as, a common list of most highly requested items:
